Director Goals

  • To improve accessibility and resource availability for students by raising awareness about upcoming events and resources, such as through a resource calendar.

  • Aim to bring greater awareness to our mental health and well-being services and explore ways to better support those initiatives.

  • Strive to bring a lively student spirit and a strong sense of community on our campus through various initiatives, such as the Spartan Squad Ambassadors, resource fairs and resource highlights, and overall engagement with the campus community and San Jose.

Director Responsibilities

  • serve as the Chair of the Campus Life Affairs Committee

  • serve as a member of the Academic Affairs Committee, Internal Affairs Committee, and Spartan Community Fund

  • serve as a Student Senator on the Academic Senate

  • promote the usage of student resources on campus

  • advocate for Athletics engagement

  • provide a liaison report on the activities of University Information Technology, Health, Wellness, and Student Services
