In this workshop, we will be learning how to work with the new SJSU Official Syllabus in your Canvas course. This standardizes the look and accessibility of your course syllabus. The SJSU Official Syllabus can also be downloaded as a PDF by your students.

Fiscal Year End 2025-26 Deadlines
Friendly reminder to all staff who oversee their department’s budgets to review the FY25–26 Fiscal Year End Deadlines to ensure all purchasing, travel, reimbursements, and financial transactions are submitted on time. Please plan ahead and refer to the deadline schedule to help avoid delays in processing.

Announcing the AdoptAI Grand Prize
June 30, 2026
The AdoptAI Grand Prize is revealed! SJSU auxiliary and stateside staff who complete the AdoptAI training program by June 30 will automatically be entered to win.

2026-27 Campus Reading Program
The 2026-27 SJSU Campus Reading Program selection is I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. Incoming students get a copy. Staff/faculty are invited to join CRP events exploring AI ethics and robotics.

Environmental Health and Safety, a department of the division of Facilities Development and Operations is charged with maintaining workplace, classroom and laboratory safety for all SJSU students and employees. As summertime temperatures ramp up, EHS urges everyone to be aware of and respond to signs of heat-related illnesses. Limit your time spent outdoors, drink plenty of water and avoid the hottest time of the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. if you can avoid it. Persons sensitive to higher temperatures are at greater risk for illnesses like heatstroke and should note the symptoms.
