Providing Hands-On Experience.

The Nutrition, Food Science, and Packaging Department has a variety of labs, facilities, equipment, and other resources to help you further your research and achieve your educational goals.

Packaging Laboratory

Our lab is one of the nation's best and serves as an open, collaborative environment that students can utilize during their studies. It is equipped for the design, fabrication, and testing of packages.

Research Equipment

Students have a plethora of research materials and resources at their disposal. From Body Composition Tools to Point-of-Service Instruments, we can help students access the materials they need for their studies.

Other Equipment

Equipment is available to students, staff, and faculty for presentations and other academic needs. 

Working Alone Application and Policies

Working Alone Standard Operating Procedure and Application Form for graduate students in the Department of Nutrition, Food Science, and Packaging who needs access to laboratory spaces to conduct project or thesis related research alone during or after normal university business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
