Bio
Dr. Lisa Rauch DNP, APHN-BC, RN is currently the Director of The Valley Foundation School of Nursing. As an Associate Professor my teaching expertise is focused in Community Health/ Public Health and School Nursing. I have been with the School of Nursing for the last 22 years. In addition to my teaching role, as an active faculty member, I have served in multiple leadership roles including Curriculum Coordinator, Compliance Coordinator, Assistant Director and participated on the Faculty Affairs Committee with a focus on Professional Development. I previously have served on the board of the National Honor Society of Nursing - Sigma Theta Tau International (Alpha Gamma Chapter) as secretary and also serve on the School Nurses of Santa Clara County board. I am passionate about nursing education, health promotion and prevention and the contribution made through nursing to the community at large. My current project focuses on Elevating the Nursing Workforce including the development of a statewide program and working closely with partners in the community to meet current needs.
